Trump's Family Member Gets Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA Debut
The rising star maintains impressive social media audience
The young golfer can count on plenty of high-profile backers as she starts her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is connected to Donald Trump, obtained a special exemption to play at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, possesses several international courses and often plays against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we play tight competitions," she stated.
She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Simply stay calm."
"My grandpa practically told me to play and have fun," she added.
"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, making him rather occupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments recently and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
Yet she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Kai's mother.
"He is the best player worldwide," Kai stated.
"Furthermore, he's an even better person. He advised me to compete, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against several most prominent players in women's golf at the Annika, such as world number two Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Tournament organizers commented that Kai's presence helps introduce golf to new audiences, particularly reaching the next generation.
Kai boasts substantial online presence and recently launched a personal fashion and living company.
The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
